1. Introduction
This Risk Disclosure explains the principal risks associated with using the services provided through the VaultaPay platform.
This document forms part of the legal agreement between you and VaultaPay Solutions FZC LLC and should be read together with the:

By opening or using an account with VaultaPay, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the risks described in this document.
2. Nature of the Services
VaultaPay provides access to financial technology services, including:
- Business Accounts
- Personal Accounts
- Multi-Currency Accounts
- Virtual and Dedicated IBANs
- Domestic and International Payments
- SEPA and SEPA Instant Payments
- SWIFT Payments
- Faster Payments (where available)
- Currency Exchange
- Crypto Wallet Services
- Buy and Sell Digital Assets
Not all services are available in every jurisdiction or to every customer.
3. General Risk Statement
All financial services involve some degree of operational, commercial and technological risk.
While VaultaPay implements controls designed to minimise these risks, no platform can eliminate risk entirely.
Customers should only use the Services after carefully considering whether they are appropriate for their own circumstances.
4. Payment Execution Risk
Payment instructions may be delayed, rejected or cancelled due to circumstances including:
- compliance reviews;
- fraud prevention measures;
- sanctions screening;
- incorrect payment details;
- insufficient funds;
- payment system outages;
- intermediary institution delays;
- receiving institution requirements;
- technical failures.
VaultaPay cannot guarantee that every payment instruction will be completed within a particular timeframe.
5. Currency Exchange Risk
Exchange rates fluctuate continuously.
When converting currencies:
- exchange rates may change before execution;
- quoted rates may differ from executed rates if markets move;
- customers may receive more or less of the destination currency than anticipated.
Customers are responsible for understanding the effect of exchange rate movements before confirming a transaction.
6. Digital Asset Risk
Digital Assets involve significant risks.
These include:
- price volatility;
- reduced liquidity;
- blockchain congestion;
- technological failures;
- software vulnerabilities;
- cyberattacks;
- protocol changes;
- network forks;
- loss of private keys where self-custody is used;
- irreversible blockchain transactions.
The value of Digital Assets may rise or fall significantly over short periods.
Customers should carefully consider these risks before using Digital Asset services.
7. Blockchain Network Risk
Blockchain networks operate independently of VaultaPay.
VaultaPay has no control over:
- network congestion;
- transaction confirmation times;
- protocol upgrades;
- validator activity;
- mining activity;
- blockchain outages.
Network events may delay or affect Digital Asset transactions.
8. Incorrect Transaction Details
Customers are responsible for ensuring all payment instructions are accurate.
Incorrect information may include:
- IBANs;
- account numbers;
- wallet addresses;
- beneficiary names;
- payment references.
Incorrect instructions may result in delayed, rejected or irreversible transactions.
VaultaPay may be unable to recover funds sent using incorrect information.
9. Counterparty Risk
Payments often involve third parties including:
- payment systems;
- correspondent institutions;
- banking partners;
- digital asset infrastructure providers;
- blockchain networks.
Delays or failures affecting those parties may affect the Services.
VaultaPay is not responsible for events outside its reasonable control.
10. Technology Risk
Like all online platforms, the Services may occasionally be affected by:
- software defects;
- hardware failures;
- internet outages;
- telecommunications failures;
- cloud service interruptions;
- cyber incidents;
- maintenance activities.
Temporary interruptions may affect access to your Account or the execution of transactions.
11. Cybersecurity Risk
Although VaultaPay maintains security controls, no online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Risks include:
- phishing attacks;
- malware;
- credential theft;
- account compromise;
- social engineering;
- ransomware;
- distributed denial-of-service attacks.
Customers should:
- use strong passwords;
- enable multi-factor authentication where available;
- protect login credentials;
- monitor account activity regularly;
- report suspicious activity immediately.
12. Fraud Risk
Fraudulent activity may include:
- impersonation;
- authorised push payment fraud;
- account takeover;
- forged documentation;
- identity theft.
VaultaPay actively monitors transactions to reduce fraud risk but cannot guarantee prevention of every fraudulent event.
Customers remain responsible for exercising appropriate caution.
13. Compliance Risk
VaultaPay must comply with applicable laws relating to:
- anti-money laundering;
- counter-terrorist financing;
- sanctions;
- fraud prevention;
- financial crime prevention.
As a result:
- transactions may be delayed;
- additional information may be requested;
- transactions may be refused;
- accounts may be restricted or suspended where legally required.
Compliance reviews are designed to protect customers, the platform and the wider financial system.
14. Regulatory Change Risk
Financial services and digital asset regulations continue to evolve.
Changes in law, regulation or governmental policy may affect:
- available Services;
- supported jurisdictions;
- transaction limits;
- onboarding requirements;
- account functionality.
VaultaPay may modify or discontinue Services where necessary to comply with legal obligations.
15. Operational Risk
Operational events beyond VaultaPay's reasonable control may affect service availability.
Examples include:
- natural disasters;
- pandemics;
- industrial action;
- power failures;
- telecommunications failures;
- internet disruption;
- third-party service interruptions.
VaultaPay maintains business continuity procedures but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.
16. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- safeguarding login credentials;
- maintaining accurate account information;
- reviewing transaction details before submission;
- protecting devices used to access the Platform;
- complying with applicable laws;
- notifying VaultaPay promptly of suspected unauthorised activity.
Failure to take reasonable precautions may increase the risk of financial loss.
17. No Financial Advice
VaultaPay provides technology-enabled financial services only.
Nothing on the website, within the Platform or in customer communications constitutes:
- financial advice;
- investment advice;
- legal advice;
- tax advice;
- accounting advice.
Customers should obtain independent professional advice where appropriate.
18. No Guarantees
VaultaPay does not guarantee:
- uninterrupted availability of the Services;
- execution of every transaction;
- processing within a specific timeframe;
- future availability of particular services;
- availability in every jurisdiction.
Nothing in this document should be interpreted as guaranteeing financial outcomes or transaction success.
19. Limitation of Risk
VaultaPay continually reviews its security, operational and compliance controls to reduce risk.
These measures include:
- identity verification;
- sanctions screening;
- fraud detection;
- transaction monitoring;
- cybersecurity controls;
- operational resilience measures.
While these controls reduce risk, they cannot eliminate risk entirely.
20. Acceptance of Risk
By using the Services, you acknowledge that:

- you understand the risks described;
- you accept the risks inherent in using payment, foreign exchange and digital asset services;
- you remain responsible for your own decisions when using the Services.
